Sandling suite approx. 45 m²
Generously proportioned with a beautiful view – the new suites on the 3rd and 4th floor provide plenty of space to relax and enjoy your holiday. The burbling stream has a calming effect as you enjoy the evening sun or a quiet starlit night on the balcony.

A suite in memory of the builder of the Seevilla (1880), Professor Laszlo Wágner. You benefit from the southerly/easterly orientation in the morning as the sunshine gently sparkles through the bedroom window. A corner balcony and loggia offer plenty of space to relax and soak up the sun.

Johannes Brahms was a popular summer guest of Professor Wágner in Altaussee. Two of his works were premiered in his friend’s music pavilion and he was the one who suggested to Professor Wágner that he name the house ‘Seevilla’. The suite is a successful composition of warm wooden elements and discreet interplay of colours. It delights with a view across the lake to the Trisselwand mountain and a large terrace.

The Augstwiese suites get their name from a hill by the Loser mountain, local to Altaussee. In the suites, with views of the lake and Loser, the living room and bedroom are combined into one large space with a sliding glass door. Two balconies with seating are perfect for spending time on – perhaps with a glass of wine in the evening from the small wine collection in the room.

The Trisselwand, one of Altaussee’s local mountains, is opposite the Seevilla on the other side of the lake. This impressive mountain, with its steeply sloping face, is immersed in an indescribably beautiful sunset in summer – reason enough to name a suite after it. However, it is dedicated to her majesty’s favourite secret agent, as we were lucky enough to welcome the James Bond crew, including star Daniel Craig, during the filming of ‘Spectre’. Enjoy the breathtaking view of the James Bond filming location and put yourself in the shoes of 007.

The Seewiese is a particularly powerful spot vis-à-vis the Seevilla, at the other end of Lake Altaussee. This suite is as unique as the spot by the lake is special. The corner terrace on the 3rd floor provides a view across the lake that it is hard to tear yourself away from. So relax and enjoy the view of the Seewiese that gives the suite its name, as well as the generous proportions of the suite itself.
