Start from your Hotel Seevilla and conquer the Loser summit on foot! If you prefer a more relaxed ascent, drive up on the panorama road to up to 1,600 metres of altitude. Make a stop at the Loser Alm Chalet before you continue to reach the summit. The effort is well worth it: from the 1,838 metre high summit of the Loser you will have an unparalleled view across the Lower Tauern, the Dachstein Massif and Mount Grossvenediger . The Salzkammergut lies at your feet! Equally worthwhile destinations are the "Loser-Krone" (Loser-Crown) and the “Loser-Fenster”. (Loser Window).

Trisselwand Summit: Impressive hiking tours in the Salzkammergut Mountains

If you look across the lake from Hotel Seevilla, you will see a steep imposing wall of stone – the Trisselwand. The Trisselwand legend tells the tale of the “Wildfrauen” (Wild Women) who hang out their laundry at the Trisselwand to dry. You can see these pieces of laundry: on days when shreds of clouds are captured on the Trisselwand’s rock face.

The Trisselwand summit is reached via a hiking path that starts right at your Hotel Seevilla. Beautiful views of Lake Altaussee and Lake Grundlsee await you.
