You can experience the Narzissenfest (narcissus festival) in Ausseerland at the end of May. Elaborate figures are put together from flowers in countless hours of work in the night before the town parade in Bad Aussee. The boat parade takes place in alternate years on Lake Altaussee and Lake Grundlsee.
